Psalm 105:4 "Seek the Lord, and His strength; Seek His face evermore"

If each of us could keep only one thing in mind every day, this would be a good thing to remember. Seek God. Look for His leading in every situation. I truly believe that He wants to lead us..He says that His sheep hear His voice, and they know it. He is speaking. It is often just so easy to get caught up in all the busyness of life, and the problems, that we come to the conclusion that God isn't speaking. We don't want to believe that He would leave us on our own to solve a problem..but we aren't hearing His voice.

If God seems far away, He isn't. Persist in seeking Him. He has not moved. Hebrews ll:6 says that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Jesus promised that if we seek Him, we will find Him...and David suggested that we look back and remind ourselves of the ways God has helped His people in the past. I suggest that you do that in your own life. Spend some time this week looking back..simply remembering the times that as you looked ahead to a situation, you truly didn't see any way through..but as you looked back, you could clearly see the hand of God as He gave you strength, made provision, changed, hearts, and worked in ways that you couldn't ever have imagined.

He will not leave you, beloved. Seek Him. Seek His strength..and seek, not only His hand in whatever you may be facing. Seek His face. He longs for intimacy and fellowship with you, as much as you do with Him. I know that many of us are busy and seeking God requires time. I urge you to prioritize your life. Seek Him first. Seek Him throughout your day. Listen for the Holy Spirit to give you a gentle nudge as you go through your day. I promise you..God will never abandon you..and He will not fail you or disappoint you.
