Psalm 34:10 "The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger; but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing"

Some of us may question this statement that David made, because it would seem at times, that we are lacking, and do have needs. I don't believe that this is a blanket promise that we can all have anything we want. I think that God knows what our needs are, and that as Christians, no matter what physical poverty we may be in, or what hardship we may face, we will always have enough spiritual nourishment to live for God. To have Him, is to have anything and everything that we will ever need. He is enough.

David was praising God for His goodness..all those who call upon God in their time of need..those who seek Him in their neediness..will be answered..very often in some unexpected ways. God sees our whole life, and your life functions as a whole. The whole (entirety) of you is IN Christ when you are a child of God's. Therefore, He is involved in every area of your life. He has made you whole..and thereby He is involved in every aspect of your neediness. He is concerned with your spiritual needs, but also with your physical needs, your financial needs, your health needs, your emotional needs, and your relational needs.

God is infinite, and because we are IN Christ, we take on His capacity, not our capacity. We have a big God..who cares about every detail of our lives, from small to huge. He would never leave us uncared for. Today, seek Him..and find the nourishment and the sustenance you need to face whatever difficult situation you may be dealing with. He truly is enough.
