You may be feeling tired. You may be weary of plugging along the right path. You may see no apparent fruit in what you are doing. You may feel that any effort you have made has gone unnoticed.. It's also easy to get discouraged, thinking that even God has forgotten or doesn't seemingly know our labour of love.
But..don't give up..and don't give in.
God sees what people don't see. He is more interested in your "why", than your "what". He sees your heart, and your motive. He also knows when you have perservered. As you love and help those around you, you honor God. You actually praise Him by your quiet efforts.
I've heard it said that, "We can do no great things..only small things with great love." Today, ask Jesus to help you to see those around you as He does. Ask Him to give you a love for people that is supernatural..the agape love that He demonstrates. He never forgets or overlooks you, beloved.
You may not presently be receiving the acclaim that this life has to offer, but God knows your heart. He knows every effort of love that you have offered to someone. Let His love for you and His intimate knowledge of you, bolster you as you face disappointment and rejection here on earth. Ask Him to refresh you, and I believe He will graciously grant you the endurance that you desire.
