A lighthouse guides ships in the dark.A searchlight locates survivors.A night light gives children courage at bedtime.A flashlight helps you find your way in a storm.A headlight helps illuminate a curvy road.A stoplight directs traffic.A spotlight directs attention.A porch light welcomes us.Firelight inspires romance.Moonlight guides us when it's dark outside.

Light. It warms, guides, and comforts. It sets a mood and draws us closer. Have you ever really noticed an outside light on a summer evening? It is surrounded by hundreds of insects buzzing around in a frenzy because they are so attracted to the light. When we recognize Jesus as the Light, we start to swarm closer as well. And when that Light resides inside us, it starts a buzz among others who want to know what the fuss is all about. Is it any wonder we read that
"God is light", "Let there be light", and "You are my lamp, O God"

Jesus is the Light of the world. When He calls you, you are irrevocably His! Let His light transform you.
