For ever and ever

Psalm 48:14 "For this God is our God for ever and ever; He will be our guide, even unto death."
This is an another of those amazing verses to me. It is a promise...and God never breaks His promises. We often pray for God's guidance as we struggle with decisions, or look for answers. What we need is both guidance...and a Guide. I have always been a terrible map reader..things on a map always seem upside down to me..but the Bible is also a map..and it's full of direction for life, full of answers, full of hope, full of life...for God IS our God..forever and ever!
This is a verse that I want to hold in my heart on those difficult days when I'm not sure which way to turn. This is a verse that will remind me of His divine guidance. The Holy Spirit is our constant companion and guide. As each of us make our way through life, may we lean on both the map, and the Guide.
