Psalm 37:5 "Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass"

At times, God seems to almost "require" a season of waiting before answers come. During those times, trust becomes our greatest asset. If we didn't trust God with our needs, we might cry out in fear and panic.
At one point during a storm on the Sea of Galilee, the disciples thought that they would perish...but Jesus commanded the wind and the waves to be still. He taught those men how to trust Him in even the most difficult of circumstances, and He is teaching us to watch and to wait for His outstretched arm as well.
I have said this before but it bears repeating. When you are in a time of waiting, don't forget that God works in the heart. We can't always see what He is doing while we are waiting and that makes it tough sometimes..but if we, like the disciples, can remember that even in our most trying times, Jesus is with us, He is working in our situations, and He will calm the storm that is "In" us, our trust will deepen in an even greater way.
