He is preciuos

I Peter 2:7a "Unto you therefore which believe, He is precious"
Peter tells us that Jesus is precious. Have you ever just stopped for a moment to think about that? I probably find myself more often, thinking about the fact that He sees me as precious...but my beloved Savior..the One who left His perfect home in heaven, the One who came to live as a man, and experienced all of the things in life that we experience, the One who laid down his life for me..and for you, is precious. He is the most precious thing in my life..and I'm sure in yours. None of us could ever compute the value of God's unspeakable gift to us, in Christ. Words cannot set forth the preciousness of the Lord Jesus to His people, or begin to tell how essential He is to our satisfaction, hope, and joy. I cannot imagine one moment without Him. It would be like a famine if my Lord were absent from my life. The world would be black without the Son shining into our lives and into our hearts. He is the bright and morning star who yields a ray of light and hope into the hearts of those who cry out to Him. I read somewhere that all of earth's candles could not make daylight if the Son of Righteousness were eclipsed.
He is the soul of our soul, the light of our light, the life of our life. Precious child, what in the world would you do without Him? When I awake in the morning, I know He is with me. I sense His presence and His strength daily as I go through the battles of each day. When my head touches the pillow at night, and I am finally laid down to rest, I am reminded that even as I sleep, He watches me.
Blessed be His Name. You have asked Him into your life, and your heart..He is there. He would never leave you. Whatever you may be facing, He is there. Even the idea of facing life without Him is unthinkable. Knowing we will never have to enhances even more, His preciousness.
