John 15:9 "As the Father loved Me, I have also loved you; abide in My love,"

In your workplace, you probably take coffee breaks, lunch breaks, and definitely bathroom breaks! Why not do the same thing in your spiritual life? Why not take some time out of your day for what I would call a "love break"..
This would just be a time that you would take daily to remind yourself and to enjoy the fact that Jesus loves you. At any time during the day, wherever you are, find a quiet place to just feed on the love of Christ. This would be a time to remind yourself of the fact that you are never alone..a time to reflect on the fact that because of His finished work on the cross..you are forgiven..a time to thank Him for the love that He has for you, and has so wonderfully demonstrated..a time to thank Him that nothing will come into your life today that He doesn't know and care about...a time to remember that when we couldn't save ourselves, Jesus died for us..literally gave up His life..so that we could have life.
When you spend time reflecting on the love that your Lord has for you, you will find yourself strengthened, nourished, and sustained by His love. Remember to interpret Christ's love for you based on the cross..not on what your present circumstances are.
During the day, when you are working hard and busyness sets in, when problems arise, or even discouragement tries to work it's way into your thoughts, stop everything, and take what I call a "love break" with Christ. Let Him love you. Allow yourself to enjoy being loved by Him. Be nourished by His love for you today.
