As much as I love my husband, my son, and my new grandson, I have never taken the time to count the number of hairs on their heads. I don't think that I will be doing that any time in the near future either. Every day, we lose hair, and new hair grows..and yet..God knows how many hairs are left on your head. When it comes to you, God always has time for every little thing about you.
So, when Jesus said that the very hairs on your head are numbered, He was not exaggerating. He doesn't exaggerate. He means what He says, and He says what He means. He is wanting you to know that He is very interested in you, and that He has intimate knowledge about you. I am always amazed to think that God knows me inside and out..and He loves me. He knows when I have a bad thought. He knows when I say something I shouldn't have. He knows the pain I have in my body. He is aware of everything about me..and you.
He is aware of the financial worry that you may be facing. He sees how those around you are treating you. He understands the hurt that you have been keeping in your heart. He hears your heart's cry for a child..or for a miracle.
Your heavenly Father wants you to know that as long as something concerns you, He does not overlook it. God knows you intimately..and when you approach Him for help, He has all the time for you, as if there was nothing else that needed His time. That is how valuable you are to Him, and how absorbed He is with you!
