Matthew 11:28 "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

In the old days, horses were used to move things from one place to another. When I think of something "heavy laden", I think of an animal, such as a horse, who has been loaded down with a lot to carry. It is probably a great burden for the horse to carry, but he continues on, somehow managing his "heavy burden".
I see us that way in the Spirit sometimes. We are weighed down with many burdens. We are just trying to carry the weight of things in life, trying to figure things out...but Jesus is saying, "Come to me". If you are carrying a burden, come!
Beloved, Jesus has time for you. He is never too busy for you, no matter what you desire to say to Him. He will listen to you...and He has answers. No matter what problem or difficulty you have, Jesus has a way for you to follow through your difficult situation..and He will be with you as you go through. He will speak to you through His word, and through the Holy Spirit prompting you in different ways.
Jesus not only gives us answers about life, but he readily reveals Himself to us. He is quick to show Himself in different situations. He is quick to show us what He desires, how much He loves us, and the depth of His concern. He will answer any question you ever have about who He is.
This weekend, my prayer is that each of you have some time to just spend praying, talking to Him, and sitting in His presence, as He speaks to your heart. May He reveal Himself to each of you in new ways, and may you be blessed.
