The Bible speaks from time to time about being an overcomer. God did not create us to be beaten down by life..He didn't create us to be beaten down by people...and He didn't create us to be beaten down by satan. The love that God has for every one of you is so great, that He made a way for us to be overcomers...simply through the blood of Christ. He is not only our Savior, but He is our Redeemer. When you are a child of God, you are "In Christ"..and He is "IN you"..The critical blow to satan came when Jesus, the Lamb of God, shed his blood for our sins.
This verse goes on to say that they also overcame him by the word of their testimony. I think when we share with someone, something that God has done in our life, we encourage them..but not only that, we encourage ourselves. We need to be reminded ourselves of all that God has done for us...of how much He loves us..of who He has made us "IN Christ".. Sometimes I think the most wonderful way to share the gospel with someone is to simply tell the person what Jesus has done in our life. What a wonderful way to encourage someone to trust Him as well.
Today, I am hoping that some of you might share your testimony with someone. I am praying for all of you today, that God would open a door for that to happen...and then I am praying that you will share your stories with me. I would love to be encouraged too! Our God is amazing! So are all of you!!!
