When you are faced with a big challenge, do you automatically look for the most powerful means to solve the problem? This isn't always the way that the Lord looks at things. The Bible tells us that it pleases God to use what the world considers weak, foolish, base, and despised to bring to nothing..things which are mighty.
In Exodus 4:2, God used a simple rod in the hand of Moses, a simple man, to perform miracles and confound the might of Pharoah.
IN John 6:1-13, the Lord used a simple little boy who happened to bring his lunch that day..five loaves and two fishes..with that little boy's lunch, Jesus fed over 5,000, and his disciples gathered 12 baskets full of leftovers.
In Judges 15:15, Samson slew a thousand Philistines who were the enemies of God's people, with the jawbone of an ass.
And then there is David, the least likely of all his brothers to be king, who with five stones and a sling brought down the giant Goliath.
Beloved, do not despise what may seem weak or insignificant in your life. God can use small things to bring down the giants in your life!
