I truly believe that if we, as believers and children of God, complained less and praised Him more, we would be happier, and God would be glorified. Let us daily praise Him for His priceless gift to us...of Jesus Christ..as long as I live, I will never get over Him..and wouldn't want to. Let us praise Him for the things that some might see as common..the eyes with which we behold the beauty in everything that He created, for health and for strength, for the bread that we eat and the clothes that we wear. Let us praise Him for everything that we have received from His bounteous hand as we have been given so much.
I think the sweetest and loudest note in our song of praise would be of Christ's redeeming love. If we know what redemption means, let us not withold our songs of thanksgiving. We have been redeemed from the power of our corruptions, and uplifted from the depth of sin in which we had once lived. We have been redeemed from the power of death and have been led to the cross of Christ, where we are no longer slaves but children of the living God. I could go on and on, but with all that He has done for us, how can any of us be silent?
