Of the Dust of the ground

Genesis 2:7 "And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul."
How often do we really stop to think about the fact that we were literally formed from the dust of the ground, and that it was God who breathed life into us. Our very life and every breath comes from God's Spirit. We are made alive by Him. Our lives are being woven by the hand of the Father and His love is not limited by sorrow and difficulty. His love is the strand of gold mixed in with the black of grief and He is creating in each of us a pattern of intricate beauty.
Psalm 139 says "how precious are thy thoughts unto me Oh God. How great is the sum of them!" The Lord has us always set before Him. It would be a dreadful thing to exist, even for a moment beyond the observation of our heavenly Father. His thoughts are always tender, loving, wise, and far-reaching. In all of our wanderings, the watchFULL glance of the Eternal One is always fixed upon us. We never roam beyond the Shepherd's eye. In our sorrows, He sees us. In our emptiness, He fills us. In our troubles, he knows our heart's cry. David said "Whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there shall thy hand lead me and thy right hand shall hold me." Even the life of an unborn child is precious to Him. He told Jeremiah that before He had even formed him in the womb of his mother, He knew him and had a plan for his life. These thoughts of the Lord encompass us in every path that we take in life, and they can penetrate the innermost region of our being. Not a nerve, or a tissue, or a valve, or an organ of our body is uncared for by God. Life is precious to Him. You are precious to Him.
Don't ever doubt the love of the Father. You will never be out of his watchful eye, even for a moment.
