Proverbs 19:12 "The king's wrath is as the roaring of a lion; but his favor is as the dew upon the grass."

The Bible also tells us that the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. (1 Peter 5:8)..Have you ever wondered why he acts like a roaring lion?
It may have something to do with that lion's roar. In the Bible, the roaring of a lion speaks of the king's wrath.."The king's wrath is as the roaring of a lion"..So..when the devil walks about like a roaring lion, he may deceive us at times, giving us the impression that the King is angry with us. When we believe that God is angry with us, we can begin to lose hope. When we think that God is displeased with us, we wont be confident of His love toward us. Instead, we may even expect punishment from Him. For some, this has driven them away from the very King who loves them and who wants to be the Lord of their lives.
Child of God, even when you fail, even when you blow it..God is not angry with you.. Galatians 3:13 says, "Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us..."Beloved, I believe that as this sinks into your heart, and you realize what Christ has truly done for you, you will fall in love with Him all over again.. Your sins have already been taken care of at the cross. As the Lamb of God, Jesus became your burnt offering.
There is a law called the law of double jeopardy which states that the same crime cannot be tried twice. Today, as a believer, you will not have to serve the sentence that was already served for you. Beloved, this should make you leap in your spirit for joy..because you are loved and because you are not under the King's wrath, but under His favor and His love.
