These words that the Lord spoke to His people in Israel, probably about 2700 years ago..still apply to God's people today..to you..and to me. The Lord has not forgotten you, beloved. He sees your struggles. He knows the situation that you are in..and He has not changed. His words to you today are..fear not..I will help you. I will literally hold you and walk through with you.. whatever you are dealing with.
You can stick this promise directly in the face of adversity..and stand on it. Your God would never leave you. People may leave your side..but your God will not abandon you. This verse is the antidote to any fear you may be facing or any lack of trust that you may be dealing with. Memorize it. Believe it. Stand on it.
We do not have to fear anything that we may be going through if we know that God will never leave us. Yes, we may have those feelings we talked about the other day to deal with..but when God is with us, we have nothing to fear..and He promises His presence always..even to the end of the age.
